Early on during the interview with Jason Salas, Frank Schacher [Chairman of the Chamorro Tribe] commented "...We are not the same group [as the Nasion CHamoru or Taotaomona]...we share the same commonalities...The Nation CHamoru...formed to seek independence...We [the Chamorro Tribe] refer to them [I Nasion CHamoru yan i Taotaomona Group] which is a splinter of the Nasion CHamoru...were formed primarily to seek independence from the United States...We refer to them as Separatists..."
