Bernadita “Ding” Santos Borja (familian Soghue yan Bela), age 98, long time San Diego resident, died peacefully Saturday March 22, 2014, at her home.
She was devoted to her family and spent her life taking care of family members. She was a Lifetime Member of the Sons and Daughters of Guam Club.
Formerly of Radio Barrigada and Sinajana, she was the last of 7 siblings. Auntie Ding has been living with her niece and nephew Lola Sablan Santos and Joseph LG Santos for the past five years after her baby sister, Rosa “Chai” Sablan of Chula Vista passed away.
Auntie Ding’s parents were Ignacio Toves Borja and Vicenta Santos; she was also raised by her Aunt Ana Toves Borja. She is survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
