Jose Quichocho Benavente, aka “Joe” “Peling”(familian
Chedo,Semmon/Maga,Mangilao), 76, passed away April 11, 2014, in San Diego,
CA.
A U.S. Navy Veteran, long time
El Cajon resident, Joe retired from the National City School District, and was
previously employed at Guam Commercial Port. He competed in softball, pool,
bowling, and pingpong while living on Guam. He loved music; an excellent
guitarist…a talent he inherited from his father. He was a member of the Sons
& Daughters of Guam Club, Inc.
In his new life, Joe
now joins:

& Maria Crisostomo S.A. Benavente, Vicenta Leon Guerrero Quichocho.
Parents: Pedro S.A. Benavente and Josefa Quichocho Quitugua. Sister: Julia
Benavente Sarrosa. Stepfather: Florencio A. Quitugua. Inlaws: Jose R. &
Dina P. Chaco, Bill Chaco, Milan Chaco, John Christensen, Hilda S. Chaco and
Joe Bousquet.
Joe will be lovingly
