Join Our Islands Are Sacred-Washington to experience the many humanifestations of Chamorro culture as we SHARE Chamorro VALUES, JAM Chamorro SOUNDS, and MAKE Chamorro HISTORY.
The Our Islands Are Sacred campaign was launched in response to U.S. military plans to expand their training and testing activities in the Mariana Islands. DOD has opened themselves up for comments until December 11th 2:00pm. Expect traditional style Chamorro Chant, live hip hop performances, live painting, a TAKE ACTION table, and a free public screening of The Insular Empire.
