On Nov. 16, 2010, sixteen ko'ko'
(Guam rail) were reintroduce to Guam. The last time a rail was seen in the wild
on Guam was in the late 1980s.
Tony Rameriez of Guam Department of Parks and Recreation said a Chamorro blessing, calling on the spirits of the air, sea and land to bless the ko'ko' and keep them safe on their new island home.
